James River

The South Dakota Canoe and Kayak Association held an event on August 24 on the James River. The trip started at the South Dakota 38 bridge and ended along 416th Avenue. By road it is 8 miles / 4 east and 4 south. By water it is about 11 miles. A total of 16 kayaks were there. Pat Welner and Chuck Kevghas also came down from Pierre. Chuck was joined in his tandem Northstar with Diana.
